The Knights of the Orthdox Order of St. John Russian Grand Priory carries on a nearly 1000 year tradition of service to Humanity. Its origins extend back to 1048 with the Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem which started the first hospitals during the crusades to take care of the sick and injured regardless of race, creed or ability to pay.

had a short program for them where around 20 kids sang and delivered poems. It

Ministry to the Silo Orphanage, Surakarta, Indonesia
Around 30 kids were there and a team of youth from Bukit Sion Immanuel Church helped us organize and get connected to the Orphanage Silo, in Tuwangmanggu Surakarta, Indonesia. We gave rice, oil, noodles, vegetables, fruits, and other foods that would be good for two months. We also gave some gifts and school supplies to the orphans. The orphanage is a Christian orphanage, managed by a couple. The wife happened to be the daughter of the founder. They have an inspiring story about the orphanage. They are housing muslim kids who are abandoned by families and these kids get schooling from the orphanage, once they finish, they go out and live life with a purpose, as Christians. Most of these kids still go back, visit, and recognize what the orphanage has done in their lives. Let us continuously pray for the couple's ministry. We have seen that it is not easy for them. By God's grace, they will be able to get through the challenges.

Helping an Indonesian Church Stand in the Ricefield
As we know, Indonesia is a muslim country. In some areas, Christians are still being persecuted. There are many stories gathered from the churches and missionaries in this part of the world. KOOSJ contributed to this church for the facilities and additional funds for the buying of that lot in the picture. Let's keep on praying for this church, which is built in the middle of ricefield and it has an interesting story. When the pastor pioneered it, people thought he was crazy. But now, after over seven years, the area where it was planted is now getting more civilized, as buildings are also being built around it. We are hoping for a revival in this place in Jesus name.
